I create illustrations for scientific papers, graphical abstracts, scientific illustrations and logos. I'm interested in merging art and science, creating visually capturing designs that communicate complex ideas effectively.

A research scientist for over 25 years, my research focuses on soil ecology and mycorrhizal fungi—how plant–fungal partnerships shape communities across farms, grasslands, and forests, and how global change and invasions alter those relationships.
Alongside the research, I create publication-ready illustrations and visual designs, turning complex processes into meaningful, engaging and intuitive visuals.
